We'll in england we have the robin mainly and the barn owl, however there are many species like the mute swan.

I always believed that Germany is the golden eagle...
I would go for the bald eagle for the USA, but Donald filled that spot, but for Canada = Canada Goose

Condor is a typical bird of Chile :D

By the way, I love you art and I also love The Three Caballeros.

It's beautiful! :D Really! However, I found on Wikipedia that the simbol animals of Italy are the Eagle (since the Roman Empire) and the Wolf, I hope it will be useful! ^^
xiaoniao Featured By Owner Jul 18, 2014
Ireland doesn't have a national bird. :( (Sad) And they have such a variety, it's difficult to really choose one over another, but maybe a puffin or a woodpecker?

And Germany's national bird is the white stork, but I feel like it should be the black eagle from the country's coat of arms. :) (Smile)

Mexico's bird is the eagle! I'd picture him as snake charmer and maybe prince-like because he's sometimes referred as the "royal eagle" XD

The Nene is the state bird of Hawai'i, but the native 'I'iwi might be more interesting, and appropriate.

Ours is teh Bald Eagle USA I think.

Well, in Argentina, the National Bird is the Hornero. They build their own houses :D…

My birth country is Peru, I can't really think of a birth that symbolizes my country.
In Holland, yeah.....ducks and gooses are pretty famous around here, especially Gooses, our Gooses takes no shit from anyone. :)

Spain: peregrine falcon maybe? We don't have a bird that symbolizes our country, actually hahhaha

So great!

Peru: Oooh the andean cock of the rock!! That one is so pretty. :)

Spain: the short-toad eagle...or maybe an "Halcón Peregrino"...

(Sorry for mistakes, I used Google Traduction)

This is really a great idea to represent different countries by birds meeting our dear Caballeros! If you would like to make a bird for France, our symbol is the rooster (but there is already Panchito) then I would see a swallow bird very well to represent France! It´s the Bird of Love!

Love your arts and love your ideas! Keep going!

For Canada, it's bird would definitely be a Loon. :)
I love this Idea! Please do more!!
LaBoricua Featured By Owner Jun 20, 2014
In Puerto Rico we have a bird called La Reinita, The Little Queen.
But actually, we are represented by a Coquí. :-)
FaGian Featured By Owner Jun 20, 2014
Italy = pidgeon

I'm convinced that it's the most representative bird.
And I say this as Italian =^___^=

Ambitious project, but one that I believe can be accomplished only by you.

I expect great images, in the coming weeks:D

No dai, dopo che ho cercato ogni alternativa possibile D:
Non che abbia qualcosa contro i piccioni, ma mi dispiace un po', mi sembra quasi di sminuirci
Mi sa che hai ragione, dopotutto è il primo volatile che è venuto in mente pure a me ( uffi )
Poi dopo ci ho pensato, magari un germano reale potrebbe andare pure bene no? O, non so, un gabbiano o l'airone.
Mah, dimmi se ti sembra un'idea sbagliata :)

Siamo l'unico popolo al mondo che si caga nel nido, e va in giro con aria tronfia e soddisfatta per questo.

Fidati: siamo "piccioni" -_____-

I had this same idea years ago and I came up with two versions of it, but I love your's way more xD
Here's what I had if you're interested.
First Idea:…

tbh, I was never really sure what bird to use for Japan, so I looked up Japanese birds, and those two were the ones that came up.
I hope you create more, because I enjoy the concepts you draw <3

portugal doesn't have really a brid that represents our country, but from birds that can represent it I can say the crow and/or the seagull ^^;

The National bird of Finland is Whooper swan :) It appears in Finnish 1 euro coin.
Here's wikipedia link about Whooper swan, if you need to check the facts about it:…

We have no official national bird on spain, but...…

there are some that could be.

for Galicia.. (I know we are not a country, but... well, we are nation!) At least where I live could be Double-crested cormorant, probably.
Laghety23 Featured By Owner Jun 20, 2014
Italy...honestly I have no idea.
Some possibilities are: mallard, heron, kingfisher (they're birds which live near lakes and rivers, so like North Italy), or simply a seagull (but it symbolizes mostly the South) ^^
I hope this can help you!

Mokrosuhibrijac Featured By Owner Jun 20, 2014  Hobbyist Digital Artist

...hmmm, since the country is split into a seaside and a continental region, a stork would be for the continental part and seagull for the sea part
Bab0une Featured By Owner Jun 20, 2014
France would be a Gallic rooster .

I'll also take this opportunity to say that I love your drawings! They are amazing, all of them! :D

The United States is a Bald Eagle.
For Australia perhaps a Kookaburra? Although Google says it's an Emu officially.
For Canada perhaps a Canadian Goose? If you went further you could use a Puffin for certain parts.
And oddly enough, apparently the red-crowned crane is China's national bird, while Japan's is the green pheasant. I typically associate the crane with Japan, not China. But if you wanted to go with a mythological bird you could absolutely use a Phoenix for China.
JeshuaMorbus Featured By Owner Jun 19, 2014
Spain? I imagine the stork.

The bird that symbolises New Zealand is the "kiwi". So us New Zealander's are called Kiwi's too :) I'd like to see you draw one one day, that would be lovely.

A lovely idea and a lovely picture!

Here in Puerto Rico, our official bird is "La Reina Mora", aka the Puerto Rican Spindalis, (Spindalis portoricensis).

Of course, most locals will tell you that our "real" official bird is probably "El Chango", aka the Greater Antillean Grackle (Quiscalus niger), because of how much of a trickster it is sometimes! Don't Feed the Birds
